Hi, back with a sweet poppy stencil card.

Its a bit grungy but has sparkle, dies, ribbon and cardboard.

A piece of cardboard from a box , glued the image on and torn away at the sides

distress stain vinage photo on cardboard a torn areas, then viva inka gold

Prima butterflies with bows and sparkle, a little shabby chic.

I've used these stamps again, last time was mixed media and darker, this time i thought light and delicate with bows and sparkle.

Ingredients are;

Heartfelt Creations, Delicate Asters paper for background with Martha Stewart lace punch down the sides.

A piece of lilac lace with the straight edge glittered with cosmic shimmer iced snow, down the centre.

The Butterflies are a Prima stamp, Stamp-N-Add, butterfly wings. Coloured with Distress Inks milled lavender and dusty concord, shaped with a ball tool, glittered on the edges with iced snow as before. A purple ribbon bow in the centre with stickles and more iced snow.A few natural fibres underneath.

Hels Sheridan Workshop, Melt pot Canvas.

Another great Workshop at Daisys, http://www.daisysjewelsandcrafts.co.uk

Hels (http://pinkleart.blogspot.co.uk) showed us ways to use the melt pot, most of us have one but don't use it.

Loved all the techniques and how my canvas turned out.

For me i was quite bold with my colours.

I came home with all the bits in a bag, as i wanted to add the natural fibres and colour the flowers and heart with Maya paints as i did not get the colours quite right with the melt pot.

Played around with it and now happy with the result.

This one is Hels canvas, don't they look different in different colours, everyone in the class used a variety of colours.

Mixed media card, with prima butterflies and lots of texture.

At last summer has arrived, I've been very busy in the garden so thought i would photograph my latest project in the garden as its butterflies.

Here is a mixed media card which started as a piece of cardboard from a box,

I tore around the edges and then painted it with white vintage chalky paint,

added a little distress inks stormy sky and peeled paint.

on the edges i dry painted some Maya Gold Nightblue to add some depth and shine.

Stamped Finnabair Piece text and Tim Holtz stencil Doily with black soot to add some interest.

Sprayed with Goosebumps shimmer texture.

The butterflies are Prima stamps, stamp -n-add, butterfly wings, coloured them with stormy sky and peeled paint distress inks, then glittered the edges with black chunky glitter - midnight snow from cosmic shimmer, glued to the card, then stamped the bodies and glittered.

Really pleased with this card and now looking forward to using the dragonflies that came with the butterflies.

IndigoBlu Blue's look out, texture, bling and flowers.

Hi, lots of photos today, as so much to this card, i wanted to add texture and there is lots of it.

Glittery diamonds with 3D gloss, micro beads and different glitters.

Dragonfly Charm.

Love this stamp been after it for a while, i think it stamps well on canvas card as it gives it texture.

Inked with vintage sepia, versafine,and coloured in with distress inks.

Coloured the rest of the card with distress inks, stormy sky and bundled sage.

Die cut the top corner with Tim Holtz, Thinlits, with hessian behind.

The top blue corner has cheesecloth with 3D gloss gel and sprinkled, micro beads, glitter and hearts.

The bottom has Prima stencil spark, with 3D gloss gel from Prima and green micro beads and glitter to make it sparkle.

Added a silver dragonfly charm,

My favourite flowers, roses and cherry blossom.

a few pearls.

Stickles diamond around the edge of the card.

Hi, another male themed card, must be on a roll, not keen on making male cards but needed a few this week so this is what i have come up with, and quite pleased, its Clean and Simple.

Happy Father's Day. A Distressed Tag.

Hi. Sharing a shabby tag today for Fathers Day using a great embossing folder, inks and wax.

The texture is shimmer goosebumps, love it.

ingredients are;

Manila Tag from Ranger.

Embossing Folder from Tim Holtz, Patchwork.

American Seam Binding Ribbon coloured with Distress Inks, Peeled Paint and Stormy Sky.

The same distress inks have been used on the tag and Black Soot around the edges and to highlight key areas.

Treasure gold on the corners and a few random areas.

A Key Charm.

Signature dies Happy Fathers Day Die. Coloured with treasured gold.

Texture added with Goosebumps spray, shimmer.

Book folded tree with flowers and a birdie on the top.

Hi, today I'm sharing my summer book folded tree covered in sweet lilac flowers and a sweet little bird. The book is the diary of an edwardian lady found in a charity shop, the pages are so pretty and was written in the area i live.

I distressed the edges with vintage photo distress ink, and stood it on a old candlestick.

Lavinia die Celtic Dreams, Daydream, Pretty garden scene.

Hi, this die cut is one of my favourites, it looks good whatever you do to it.

The background is made from brusho, the branch and frame is distressed with treasure gold.

The texture on the leaves and bird is clear embossing powder with glitters of many textures and micro beads, heated to bond.

Glitter texture to the leaves.

ingredients are;

The tree has treasured gold brushed on.
