We’d also like to introduce Samantha Wade who loves mixed media and paper crafting. We felt her style is really unique and pretty! It has a real shabby-chic feel to it. Samantha is also an active blogger and hairdresser. Samantha is another long-standing fan of the Craftwork Cards brand and finds the kits very inspiring.

A shabby chic card, made using ScrapBerry papers and embellishments.

Such pretty papers.

Just added a lace flower and mulberry flowers.

A little glossy accents on the birds.

MDF 3 Drawer Chest for Daisy's with Graphic 45, Enchanted Forest.

Hi.

Today share is a DT for Daisys Jewels and Crafts.

It is a chest with a lidded box on the top.

Graphic 45 papers Enchanted Forest Collection.

Glued all the parts together, then painted with black gesso.

used Mod Podge matte to glue the papers on.

I decided to use word Adore as i really like this and could use it or jewellery, so lined the draws with felt. I had thought of using it for craft and could put all my sparkly things inside.

Even added gems into the holes on the handles. To add a bit of sparkle i used stickles star dust, a few gems.

In the round with Sweet Poppy Stencils and micro beads.

Hi, 

I really like round cards at the moment and this stencil from Sweet Poppy is perfect.

I've kept it simple but effective.

The texture is mirco beads on paste.

with distress inks in the background.

ingredients are;

Sweet Poppy Stencil - 

Distress inks- Peeled Paint, Scattered Straw and Victorian Velvet.

Dreamweaver translucent embossing paste.

micro beads, clear.

Sue Wilson double pierced circles to make the card.

Shabby Chic Card with Pion Designs, lace and flowers.

Hi,

Back to my true love today with a pretty shabby chic card.

Beautiful papers from Pion, lace flowers and lots of pretties.

Really pleased with my doily, managed to colour match with the papers and the gilding wax makes it look really rich.

Its lovely to get out in the garden to take a few photos as the true colours show through.

Special Dad MDF stand up words from Daisy's Jewels and Crafts.

Hi, today's post is my first DT for;

Daisy's Jewels and Crafts

We are getting ready for Fathers Day or just because Dad is special.

Daisy's has a fabulous range of MDF to alter at great prices and postage is free over £10.

I've glued the base to the words and painted front and back with DecoArt Media Cerulean Blue.

Then with a piece of cut and dry swiped DecoArt interference Blue across the words to add lightness.

Also painted the trophy to match.

Added the bricks with a stencil and black paint.

Highlighted the sides of letters and trophy with gold gilding wax and glue the trophy on.

The finishing touches are also from Daisy's, a metal flourish with a blue painted pearl and a metal clock with a piece of string.

The special Dad words on stands are £2.50 and the pack of 4 trophies are a £1.

IndigoBlu Stamp, Blue's Day Out with Spring Flowers.

Hi.

Weather has been lovely and i've been working in the garden getting ready for summer.

So todays card has been inspired by flowers and blue skies.

Blue's day out is one of my favourite cat stamps and i thought i would try it with white embossing powder, distress inks with a pretty selection of flowers.

The beautiful die is from Spellbinders.
