Ribbon poppy from Ribbonbox , framed, in memory of the poppies at the Tower of London.

Hi, saw these poppies at the N.E.C and decided to have a go at making them.

For my Birthday in October we went to London to see the poppies at the Tower of London.

So i decided it would be the perfect reminder of a great day.

Poppy kit from Ribbonbox,

will not go into too many details as you would have to buy kit.

4 lengths of red wired ribbon, 

Stitched and gathered.

green ribbon to make the centre, also stitched,

poppy bud.

leaves had heat and bond ironed on, then cut out,

i added (not in kit) Lace background, with lace flowers and leaves.

white frame with gilding wax.
