Happy Birthday Dad, with PaperArtsy Jofy 30 and bees wax.

Hi, Happy Birthday Dad.
A few years ago my Dad use to keep bees, so when i saw these stamps and the Paperartsy Challenge with Bees wax, i decided to make a special card for his big birthday.
Dust off the melting pot, and pour in the bees wax.

I'm into making my own backgrounds at the moment, so used the stamps from the set.
Then painted the background and hive with bees wax and buffed with a soft cloth to make it shine.
Smells good too.

Added glossy accents to the bees wings and letters, numbers and sentiment.

The hearts are Lavinia and the circles, gesso and a small lid of a water mister.

I hope my Dad likes his card, Its flying to South Africa as thats where his spending his Birthday.
Ingredients are;
PaperArtsy Jofy 30 and the text from Eclectica EDY10.
Lavinia mini hearts.
The background is white card stock wiped though DI spray with water on a mat, shades of yellow and  pink.
Stencils - Circles and DI mustard Seed.
Coloured the stamped images with DI.
white circles are a lid from a spray bottle and white gesso.

happy birthday die, both have glossy accents on.
Metting pot and bees wax in project pan.
